ORAL HISTORY PROGRAM

The D.C. Everest School District students and staff at the junior and senior high schools have worked together to collect and compile oral histories into several published books, recording these stories for future generations.

"For many years nobody was paying any attention to this thing (World War II), and it was the biggest event in our lives.  I think it says a lot that a bunch of young people are interested in a bunch of old veterans."
Bob Holster
WW II Veteran interviewee
