TUITION WAIVER
The intent of the tuition waiver is to solve the problem that occurs when students move out of a district after the open enrollment deadline. If your child meets the requirements and is granted the tuition waiver, he/she is allowed to remain in the district until the following February when you are eligible to apply for open enrollment. You must apply for open enrollment during the next February application period in order for your child to continue attending D.C.

OPEN ENROLLMENT
Application period for the 2012-13 school year is February 6 – April 30, 2012
Wisconsin's inter-district public school open enrollment program allows parents to apply for their children to attend a school district other than the one in which they live. Parents must complete an online application no earlier than February 6, 2012, and no later than April 30, 2012 by 4:00 p.m.
Late applications will not be accepted for any reason.

Beginning Feb. 6, 2012, you may complete an online application @ http://dpi.wi.gov/sms/psctoc.html
At this time, once a student is accepted to attend D.C. Everest under open enrollment, the student may continue to attend the district without having to reapply every year. Annually parents will receive a mailing requesting that you confirm your child will continue to attend under the open enrollment program, verify your demographic information and return it to us.
